After the AutoCAD user sees the model for the first time, he or she will be able to begin working on the project by editing, adding, or modifying existing model elements, such as lines, circles, arcs, arcs, dimensions, text, and dimensions. The user may also add, edit, move, or delete existing drawing elements, such as lines, circles, arcs, dimensions, text, and dimensions. When working on a model, the user may add any or all of the following:
• Layer management
• Visible selection
• Hidden selection
• Linear styles
• Clipping mask
• Geometry settings
• Document settings
• Task bar
• Standard menu
• Menu bar
• Object snap
• Pen tool
• Other tools
AutoCAD is an integrated suite, meaning that it comes with AutoCAD, RasterBASIC (a program used for creating bitmap images), and DWGfix (a program used for fixing problems caused by the use of DWG files).
Although older, slower versions of AutoCAD are available for the Apple Macintosh and the IBM PC, the software’s main application for drawing and design is its Windows version.
Two versions of AutoCAD are available:
• AutoCAD LT
AutoCAD LT is designed to work on a single computer, and it requires the use of a mouse and keyboard. The software does not support a drawing-table option, so users must design their projects on a large flat surface (such as a desk). AutoCAD LT is capable of creating DW
Most of the classes, procedures, variables, functions and other forms of code within the software are written in Autodesk’s AutoLISP, Visual LISP or ObjectARX. AutoCAD also supports Dynamic COM as its main development environment. Dynamic COM is a technology developed by Autodesk to enable third-party products to call into AutoCAD via COM interfaces. The most recent version of Autodesk Dynamic COM (AutoCAD 2017) was released in June 2015. Autodesk ActiveX is a technology used to integrate a number of external ActiveX components to Autodesk’s software products. ActiveX controls and applications are installed and run inside the software product’s own memory space, but can be accessed via the Windows API (Application Programming Interface). There is no difference between a non-ActiveX control and a standard ActiveX control. ActiveX controls are managed by Windows, not by AutoCAD; therefore, the internal implementation of ActiveX controls can be different from product to product and version to version of AutoCAD. For example, a particular part of the ActiveX control’s code might run on a Windows Server, while other parts of the same ActiveX control might run on a Windows client workstation or a Windows thin client.
Since AutoCAD 2007, AutoLISP is officially supported only for customizing AutoCAD and writing macros, not for programming. AutoLISP is still used by a number of companies to create add-ons for AutoCAD. VBA is a macro language developed by Microsoft for its Office software products. While the official release date of AutoCAD 2010 was September 27, 2006, AutoLISP and VBA development was going on already in the late 1990s. AutoCAD and AutoLISP/VBA scripting are connected through a COM interface. ObjectARX is a C++ class library (written in C++) and a.NET scripting language (written in C#). ObjectARX was used by a number of products creating extensions to AutoCAD functionality, including AutoCAD Architecture and Autodesk Visual Database Design (V-DAT), before being replaced by.NET scripting. The newest version of ObjectARX is for AutoCAD 2011. AutoCAD 2009, 2010 and 2012 are capable of.NET scripting.

This will prompt for the plugin’s password.
Enter the appropriate password.
Select the appropriate default settings, or customise your autocad plug-ins with the help of the guidance provided with your digital filter.
Close the dialog box.
How to use the plug-in
The plug-in helps in the following ways:
Provides a list of the most recent users who have used the digital filter.
You can change the name of the digital filter from the information provided in the list.
You can also apply a name of your own choice to the digital filter.
You can also apply a different image to the digital filter.
You can add additional information about the latest digital filter users.
You can add more users to your list as well.
You can customise the digital filter by selecting different settings in the “Design tab”.
The settings include the following options:
– Filter Type: The settings relate to the different types of objects that can be filtered in Autodesk Autocad. The user can specify the number of objects that are removed from the digital filter.
– Filter Time: The filter type function determines the number of objects that are filtered in the time period specified.
– For the filter to work, it is better to provide some time frame to specify the removal of objects.
– Filter Space: This setting is provided to determine the width of the frame that needs to be specified in the filter space. This setting can be entered in the mm, inch or cm units.
– It is required to provide more precise settings for the width of the filter space.
– Filter Type: This setting is provided to choose between the quick and the regular digital filter options.
– Filter Time: This setting is provided to determine
Enroll your drawings in the new AutoCAD Print Drawings Marketplace to receive detailed, real-time information about your drawings’ costs, use, and style, and much more. Save time and money by avoiding costly and manual drawing updates. (video: 4:40 min.)
Perform more editing operations with one command. Instead of editing multiple objects with multiple commands, you can now perform your edits in one step with new Edit Multi object commands. (video: 1:06 min.)
Model Dimensioning enhancements:
Animate and use parametric drawing dimensions easily and quickly, with modeling dimensioning updates, including a new Object Launcher. (video: 4:00 min.)
Use a selection tool to pick only the portion of the screen you want to modify. When you place a selection-based command, AutoCAD will only change the object that is selected. (video: 1:15 min.)
Designing and documenting for the web is faster and easier with the new Web Service technology. You can now use the Autodesk DWG/PDF Import or Autodesk DWG Export service, along with the new Autodesk Architectural Design Web Service.
