AutoCAD is one of a group of major programs produced by Autodesk. This group includes Maya, a 3D software application used for creating visual effects for film, video and games; SketchUp, a 2D and 3D design application; AutoCAD 360, a visualization and analytics application; and SubCAD, a commercial drafting application. Users can purchase a perpetual license for $6,200 or an annual subscription to receive new updates for as low as $385, including any technical support and updating. You can also purchase add-on products including AutoCAD LT, which is a low cost, mobile and web-based version of the application with basic functionalities and a more limited user interface.
Introduction
AutoCAD is a desktop CAD application that runs on microcomputers with graphics hardware. It was introduced by Autodesk in 1982, although the first stable release was in 1985. In 1991, AutoCAD was also released as a Windows application and was one of the first CAD programs to be available on the then new Windows 3.x operating system, which replaced the DOS-based MS-DOS operating system.
AutoCAD uses standard Windows 7 or Windows 10 desktop interfaces, but you also have the option of working on a smartphone with the available AutoCAD mobile apps. On the desktop, AutoCAD can be used in two different ways: as a “linear” application, in which the drawing is displayed on the desktop or as an embedded application, in which the drawing is stored within the file, and made available to users.
You can save drawings in the native AutoCAD format (.dwg), which is natively supported by Windows 7, 8, and 10. You can also save drawings as native Microsoft Office files (.doc,.xls,.ppt, etc.). The native file format that Autodesk recommends is.dwg, which is supported by Windows 7, 8, and 10.
You can also use other common third party file formats with AutoCAD. After installing AutoCAD, the program comes with several.dwg files, including a generic.

AutoCAD 2017 and AutoCAD LT 2017 introduced new features for better software customization. The most significant improvements were made to the Process Editor (specifically the MDI, Tabs and Toolbars), DXF and PDF importing and exporting capabilities and the ability to change the viewing properties of the camera. New features for DXF include: supporting DXF version 2011 or later; adding a DXF attribute table; adding support for relative and absolute coordinates for coordinates and spatial references. New features for Process Editor include: minimizing the MDI to a launcher that allows a user to minimize the MDI and a new feature to control the default button in a toolbar.
AutoCAD LT2019 also added the “Click To Edit” feature, which allows users to edit a drawing on-the-fly as they place it.
.NET has been a key technology for extending AutoCAD functionality. In 2014, Microsoft announced that it was no longer developing.NET for the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems and indicated that new releases would be based on the.NET Core framework. Newer releases of AutoCAD have added.NET functionality.
AutoCAD LT 2019 introduced the.NET Framework 4.7.0 as an alternative to.NET Framework 4.6.2. In 2015, Autodesk indicated that.NET Framework would be removed from future releases of AutoCAD. Although the.NET

SQL Server 2000: Update Data
I’m new to SQL Server. I have a database table called order with these columns:
ID
order_id
user_id
approved
My task is to update approved column with ‘Y’ for all entries that have order_id=’100′ and user_id=’12’ but if a user has not order_id=’100′ I don’t want to change the value of approved.
I wrote a query to find the required entries and update approved column with ‘Y’ but it returns all records and I’m not sure why.
The following is my query:

You need to use a JOIN, so that you have all the data in a single table to work on.

Note that this will only update the table rows where the supplied data is true, there is no need for a WHERE clause.
