AutoCAD is a series of applications for 2-D drawing, drafting, and modeling. AutoCAD is the industry standard for 2-D drafting and modeling of architectural, mechanical, and industrial design projects. The software enables designers to create 2-D drawings, render them on a computer screen or film, and print them out.
AutoCAD for macOS was released in 1992. This was followed by the release of AutoCAD LT in 1996, a trial version of AutoCAD for use on home PCs. AutoCAD LT was replaced by AutoCAD in 2002. AutoCAD LT became AutoCAD for macOS in 2007.
AutoCAD is available for use on macOS, Windows (since 2015), and Linux. Some recent features of AutoCAD have been added to AutoCAD LT, as well as the new iOS and Android apps. AutoCAD is available in an on-premises version with perpetual licensing, or as a software as a service (SaaS) option where users pay a monthly fee for use of the software.

Licenses of AutoCAD for school use
AutoCAD is designed for use by people with less than a bachelor’s degree. This means that licensing is available to students, adults, and employees of private companies. AutoCAD is also sold to public and private schools, colleges, universities, and vocational training schools. Licenses for schools are available for use by faculty, students, and administrative staff.
All of the AutoCAD apps require a user to be registered to create and edit drawings. The annual license fees are different for individuals, commercial firms, and educational institutions. Commercial firms, schools, colleges, and universities are required to purchase a license that has the option to use AutoCAD for a year or two. For schools, AutoCAD LT is an optional product to use for a month or two.

Dynamic view. A new dynamic view feature was introduced in AutoCAD LT 2007. This feature enables users to see a drawing in an altered perspective, different from what is presented in the two-dimensional view. This feature is the result of combining AutoCAD LT 2007’s 3D Dynamic Views, which automatically alter the view of a 3D drawing, with the Window Manager, which enables the user to choose which two-dimensional window is visible. The new dynamic view also allows users to see drawings in a true 3D space. The feature can be configured so that it is visible or invisible at any time. Dynamic view is not implemented in the 2D or 3D drawing environments.

In the case of a fuel atomizer of this type, it has been customary to dispose a means of finely atomizing fuel supplied from the fuel inlet pump and emitting a high-speed atomized air jet in the vicinity of the fuel spray nozzle assembly.
