I am trying to write a script that will run a command, then run two other commands if one of the first two commands fail, like:

There’s no doubt that AutoCAD has changed the way we design, and that change has been revolutionized by Markup. Since AutoCAD 15, the power to “mark up” your CAD drawing has never been more powerful or easier to use, and Markup Assist has been the tool we’ve used the most.
But there have always been trade-offs: you could mark up individual elements, but you had to manually draw over the entire surface of a drawing. With AutoCAD 2019, Markup was completely redesigned with a new application programming interface (API) that opened up many new ways to apply the markup to your design. But the way you used it was also different, as you no longer had to directly edit a drawing in order to apply a markup and then create and save the change. Instead, you could call functions from a Command Window to apply the change.
Markup now gives you a lot more flexibility and power, but it also means that to use Markup Assist effectively, you need to learn a new way to make changes to a drawing. What’s new in Markup?
